The Symposium Mines Guinee (SMG), West Africa's largest mining event, returns for the 2010 edition which will take place in Conakry, Guinea, from the 23rd to the 25th of November.

The SMG is now established as the largest mining event currently organised in West Africa. In 2008, the event attracted over 800 participants emanating from 25 countries, 46 companies exhibited and 85 presentations were delivered. The event also featured touristic visits to the Isle de Loos, and to the mining sites Simandou, Kamsar, Sangaredi and Boké.

The first Mauritanian Mining Conference & Exhibition (MAURITANIDES 2010) will take place in Nouakchott, Mauritania from 9 – 11 November 2010.

MAURITANIDES 2010 will act as a platform to exchange experiences, debate and establish business partnerships and cooperation, which will lead to conclusions and recommendations for an improved development of the country’s sub-soil wealth and its sustainable development.

The 2nd Annual Africa Public Private Partnership Africa Conference will take place on the 1st and 2nd of December 2010 in Tunis, Republic of Tunisia.

Building on the experience of first edition of Africa PPP conference which attracted 140 delegates from over 30 countries and over 30 speakers and featured a Field trip to an Infrastructure PPP project in Tunis(Enfidha airport), the event will touch on the newest updates of PPPs in Africa.
